Madrid. Day 2

27 September, 2012

In yesterday’s session we have tried to define the user of our bags, but how to translate these insights into a shape?

The workshop is going through a crucial phase. It’s the moment to define and create the silhouettes, to think about the possibilities our design has to offer to the users and to look at which functionalities match with their lifestyle.

Rolled bags, multifunctional pockets, adaptable backpacks, it-bags. Each design can be used in many ways, but it’s time to take decisions, select correct functionalities, materials and details.

The participants of Bag in Town are defining the shape of their bags with trials and prototypes, representing in 3D how a 24 hours bag could be. A trial and error process has just begun.

If you wanna know how it ends, stay tuned.
